I have created this blog primarily for the purpose of trying out blogging software. But I will write this, if nothing more:

Why do I always use "bawb" as my handle? It all started at college where my wife and I met. A good mutual friend of ours used to have fun mangling our names with phonetic spellings. So I (Bob) was always "Bawb" and my girlfriend Jane was always "Jain". (And our friend was always "Kimba", but that's another story.)

Well, love turned to serious relationship, which turned to marriage. Kimba was in our wedding, and in charge of "decorating" our car. Of course, she wrote "Bawb" on my window and "Jain" on hers. It's stuck ever since, and gives me a handy unique handle to use online (which is way better than something like Bob1234).
